Windows Tutorial | How to Create Windows 8.1 Bootable USB

This is the same way as shown in previous post How to Create Windows 7 Bootable USB. But I posted it separately for How to Create Windows 8.1 Bootable USB. Creating Windows 8 bootable USB is very simple way using trusted "Windows7-USB-DVD-tool.exe" from Microsoft Store.

There are many Software that can be used to Create Windows 8 Bootable USB, but this one really reliable because it is made specifically for but if you want to use Rufus to make bootable USB go here Create bootable USB using Rufus v1.4.3.I also try to create Windows 8.1 Bootable USB using Rufus and it works too.

Requirements to make a Windows Bootable USB:
  1. Microsoft Net Framework 3.5 if you don't have download it here.
  2. Windows 7 USB/DVD Tools Download it here.
  3. USB Flash Drive 4 Gigabytes or Higher.

Windows Tutorial | How to Boot a Computer from USB Without Bios Support

As shown in previous post How to Boot Computer From USB even if the Bios Doesn't Support it. But someone ask me on How to boot an old PC from USB without bios support and the Operating System cannot load properly or Operating System was Corrupted. so in this case we cannot run the InstallToBootMenu.bat.

Important things that you need:
  1. Computer with Floppy Disk (good condition) - this computer where want to setup a floppy disk.
  2. USB Flash drive.
  3. Operating System eg. Windows XP
  4. Floppy Disk
  5. Blank CD (Optional) - If you are using Floppy Disk, Blank CD is not needed.
  6.  RawWrite for Windows Download here Extract any where you want.

As shown in previous post How to Create Windows 7 Bootable USB but the problem is Windows7-USB-DVD-tool is not compatible to Windows XP. Microsoft has not made a USB install tool for XP similar to the Windows 7 USB install tool. So I created this tutorial for those who asking me on how to make Windows XP Bootable USB. There are many software can you use to create a bootable USB, But this one tried and tested by me!!

Requirements to make a Windows Bootable USB:
  1. A Copy of any Microsoft Windows XP Disk Image ISO File. if you don't know how to create an ISO image check this How to Create an ISO Image from CD/DVD
  2. USB Flash Drive 1 Gigabyte or Higher.
  3. Create bootable USB drives using Rufus v1.4.3

How to Install Windows 7 using USB Flashdrive

Some times our CD or DVD drive is suddenly stopped working ,so you will ask how i can install windows in this difficult case .Well you must have usb flash drive to install windows from it , it must be at least 4GB if you will install windows 7 .Rufus tool software will do this task and make your usb flash drive bootable .After you make it bootable , you can install windows 7 to your computer faster than CD drive .Rufus tool is a windows 7 usb download tool.

OK , First you must download Rufus tool software from the link below on the end of this article , then you must have windows iso to burn it on usb flash drive through Rufus tool software .

How to use:

Fixed USB drive unusable, unformattable, corrupted, and reporting 0 bytes capacity

(1) Do the registry trick. Copy this code in notepad and save it as anything.reg file

(2) Double-click the file... (click YES)

 NOTE: This step edits the registry to be able to write on our flashdrives / memory cards and other storage devices. If write-protected anyway ... procede to next step.

Stop Autoplay In USB Flash Drives By Pressing One Keyboard Button

Most of the virus enters the computer through USB Flash drives, when we open the drive through autoplay the virus is a simple tip with which you can stop autoplay in USB Flash drives. Not only flash drives, it also stops autoplay for CD and DVD also.

While inserting CD, DVD or any flash drive, simply press and hold the Shift key, this will disable the autoplay dialog box. Holding down the Shift key will also block the applications that starts automatically.

Works fine in Windows XP and Windows Vista, Just give it a try... on the other hand, USB Disk Security is still the best for me...
