Browser Solution | How To Solve Mozilla Firefox Hangs, Freezes, Not Responding

Firefox Browser's Constantly Lagging And Not Responding Problem
While you're browsing the internet there are chances that you are experiencing some difficulties with Mozilla Firefox like hang, freezes, not responding or crashing. How about while you're downloading a big file without being able to resume and such a problem happened. Much time is wasted in downloading due to be rolled out again to start. I have tried clearing my cache and cookies. I have also tried to re-installing Mozilla Firefox and clean the registry error, but I failed to solve this kind of problem.

I've found many people are getting confusion on Mozilla Firefox hangs and crash, when a program hangs, it no longer accepts user input and does not seem to be performing any actions; a crash ends the program. Other terms for hanging are freezing or not responding.   A hanging program does not respond to your actions.

How to remove when Recycler Folder is not a virus

When you delete a file in Windows XP Explorer or My Computer, the file is stored in the Recycle Bin. The file remains in the Recycle Bin until you empty the Recycle Bin or restore the file.

The Recycler folder is used only on NTFS partitions. The Recycler folder contains a Recycle Bin for each user that logs on to the computer, sorted by their security identifier (SID).

You may find this folder in your NTFS drives which may be two HD (C and D or ...) drives in My computer.
You may find dumped files during chkdsk , about 500 MB of corrupted files into Drive:\RECYCLER.
Those corrupted files names are like Dd1234,cab like that.
One may tried to delete the Recycler folder or its contents. So far, you will not be successful.

To resolve this issue, delete the files from an MS-DOS prompt.

CDROM / DVDROM missing in My Computer

Solution:

search for the keys upperfilters and lowerfilter in

- click start, run, type regedit and click OK
- navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Class\ 4d36e965-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318

- look for "upperfilters" and "lowerfilters"
- right click upperfilter and select delete, delete also lowerfilters
- close registry and restart the computer

you should see CDROM / DVDROM in My Computer after the restart.

NOTE: Always backup registry before deleting those entries.

Common Windows XP BOOT ERRORS, here is the Solution

Solution 1. HAL.DLL missing or corrupt.

If you get an error regarding a missing or corrupt hal.dll file, it might simply be the BOOT.INI file on the root of the C: drive that is misconfigured

1.Insert and boot from your WindowsXP CD.

2.At the first R=Repair option, press the R key

3.Press the number that corresponds to the correct location for the installation of Windows you want to repair.

Typically this will be #1

4.Type bootcfg /list to show the current entries in the BOOT.INI file

5.Type bootcfg /rebuild to repair it

6 Take out the CD ROM and type exit

OR

Better solution: This seems to always work

expand x:\i386\hal.dl_ y:\windows\system32\

NOTE: X= cd rom drive letter and Y=Drive where Windows was installed

10 reason why PCs crash u must know

10 reasons why PCs crash U must Know

Fatal error: the system has become unstable or is busy," it says. "Enter to return to Windows or press Control-Alt-Delete to restart your computer. If you do this you will lose any unsaved information in all open applications."

You have just been struck by the Blue Screen of Death. Anyone who uses Mcft Windows will be familiar with this. What can you do? More importantly, how can you prevent it happening?

1 Hardware conflict

The number one reason why Windows crashes is hardware conflict. Each hardware device communicates to other devices through an interrupt request channel (IRQ). These are supposed to be unique for each device.

For example, a printer usually connects internally on IRQ 7. The keyboard usually uses IRQ 1 and the floppy disk drive IRQ 6. Each device will try to hog a single IRQ for itself.

If there are a lot of devices, or if they are not installed properly, two of them may end up sharing the same IRQ number. When the user tries to use both devices at the same time, a crash can happen. The way to check if your computer has a hardware conflict is through the following route:
